Kitesports Training
British Kitesports provides training in all kite sports including powerkiting, kite surfing and snow kiting delivering a syllabus that is internationally recognised and set by the the International Kiteboarding Organisation (IKO). Training is provided by certified instructors and schools across the UK in a safe environment.
Training can be provided by the following centres from beginner though to instructor:
- Airboss - Leicestershire
- Eastern Extreme - Norfolk
- Paracademy - Dorset
- Transition Kiteboarding - Kent
Kite sports in schools
Along with delivering training, British Kite Sports is responsible for delivering the Kite Sports in Schools package as part of a partnership with Sport England. This project encourages schools to use kite sports as an alternative sport for children. More information can be found at www.kitesportsinschools.org.
